Surprisingly comfortable walking shoes! The fabric has great properties, the insole is supportive but not as hard as concrete, and the no-tie laces are a welcome touch. They almost feel like slippers and I would buy one in each color if they were my size. My feet are uncomfortable, wide in the front, like a tailor's crook on the little toes, and a heel narrower than most wide shoes. They fit like they were made for my unruly feet. I bought this and two other pairs of Propet hiking boots in the spring and they were way cooler than the leather Saucony I wore in the winter. However, my kids scoff at the slightly gilded look of this fabric, but at my age, comfort comes before style!
