suitable for students. I had one from Walmart that was at least $10 cheaper than the one I bought at Walmart a few years ago. It had a decent amount of stuff but I was too afraid to put too many things on one of the shelves. I then moved in and left it to a friend and she stocked every shelf with clothes and lotions, some of which were heavy, and surprisingly this thing never broke. After a few years, however, the circular plastic prices that connected each square began to collapse. So I just bought this one and I don't remember my old one sucking so badly to collect lol. Every time I put the prices together, the other prices differ, which annoys me quickly lol. Then as I was putting everything together, one square decided to come loose before I could tie it. The hammer wasn't effective for amplification for me, at least not. But its nice. But basically, once you assemble it and place it where you want it, it can last a long time if you don't move it too often. It's perfect for people who don't have tools but want a cheap and lightweight shelf.
