I was struggling to choose a case for my new iPad mini 5. So many options but the main issues were grip, no need to carry a screen protector and of course drop protection. After reading endless specifications of different products and reviews from many, I decided to take a risk and buy this product. So far, so good. It has a very tight fit, which I like. The grip is amazing. Yes, the connection to the keyboard is firm and takes some getting used to. But the magnets keep the two pieces securely connected. The keyboard is of course small but feels nice, it IS backlit and yes I can change the color of the backlight. Oh yeah, the price is reasonable too. Overall it's a beefy, compact body and I like it. I am a genuine customer and have not been paid for this review. Thanks very much!
