So I did the allergy test and the dust mites on my list are strong. I ordered this as an alternative to the famous and expensive Mission Allergy brand. There are many things I like about this product. After a lot of research this was exactly what I was looking for, mainly protection and comfort. I recommend this to everyone I know who has allergy issues. BENEFITS: The zippered sleeve makes it easy to close the mattress and provides extra protection to prevent anything getting in or out. You really should be getting something under 10 microns (pore size) for the dust mite repellent, which is 3.44 microns. As an added bonus, it protects against bed bugs. Be wary of brands that promise "breathable" material that is "waterproof". The smaller the pore/micron size, the less breathable the fabric is, making it waterproof; then you sacrifice comfort because it's stretchier and makes you sweat a lot, and trust me, you don't want that. I have some pillowcases (of a different brand) that reminded me of hospital pillows and they made an annoying plastic noise every time they were touched. I felt this product was comfortable with breathable fabric yet offered adequate protection. It's also machine washable, requiring no special care or over-washing. I gotta love the lifetime warranty too! NEGATIVES: There is a slight noise, but it doesn't bother me. It's not bad compared to other brands I've tried. Putting the cover on can be tricky, so I recommend bringing an extra person.
