It's not the cord, it's the connection

Buying a replacement cord for your Acer because your original power cord doesn't make a good connection and doesn't charge the battery reliably isn't saving you money. The power cord is the connection. If your computer is still under warranty, contact Acer and send it back for repair. If the guarantee hasn't come yet, you're just as screwed up as I am.
