This belt runs small using the belt to scrap ratio I have always used, there is also some doubt that it is leather. The first one I received was marked with brown lace and was the right color, now they are sending a tan it's darker, I'm finally leaving these but I really would have preferred the original color sent by many reviews here and elsewhere . It seems the main belt may not be leather, it was made in China. To be honest I've never had such a problem with the belt, I really like it, maybe one day I'll find the original brown color of the lace. It looks like leather but be aware it is made in China so I have no doubt it could be a different material. It's not my first rodeo made in China. It could mean real or junk you're talking about wearing I'll make a note of that later and I don't just wear his belt, I usually choose a different one every day
