Poor sound and key sensitivity

Not a fan of this at all. My son, when he was about 3 years old, used some form of white noise to help him fall asleep. We built the house so close to the train tracks that when the house was quiet, for example at night, you could hear the trains a little. So I put an air purifier in his bedroom and he's had it ever since. Air purifiers, fans and when we're out I have about 8 different noise machines to choose from. They used the old-style USB connector, not USB-C. I was never impressed when in 2022 people were STILL doing things with micro USB cables from 2007. Each sound option has only one option. I prefer devices with at least two or three options for some of them, like white noise, fans, etc. The white noise here is just awful - the worst white noise recording I've heard. How the heck do you get a white noise signal that sounds like it has random noise in it that you actually HEAR noise. Someone else said that their sound would change from one sound to another on its own. We didn't have it. The backlight would be a nice feature if I wasn't so disappointed with the audio options. The buttons on top light up with a small green circle around them unless you're pointing them straight at you at an angle. Face I don't understand how this can cause problems for people sleeping in a dark room.
