This is my third attempt at a 'personal fridge' and so far I think I have a winner! You can browse my other reviews and see I'm not kidding. I'm in security and my office is a tiny box with no air. I'm a big guy and my family calls me polar bear because I love the cold and can't stand the heat. This Evapolar is still on a bee's lap. It sits on my desk 3-5 feet from me and I use it for about 10 hours, 5 days a week. Unlike its competitors, it handled so much usage with ease. Right now the display says it's spending 57⁰ which is so nice. The ONLY improvement I could think of would be to either give it a rechargeable battery so I don't have to keep occupying the USB slot or add a USB port on the side so I can use it to charge my phone etc can. That being said, almost all the complaints I've read are from people who can't read descriptions. It doesn't cool the room - they didn't claim it. You need to be near the car to cool off - it's literally in the instructions. This is not an air conditioner, just a water cooling fan - also verbatim in the descriptions. All I know is that I'm picky and have no problem naming bad products, but this one is - at least for now - a gem. Don't hesitate and don't waste your time on others - buy this one!
