Review on Plastruct AR 2H Clear Rod 16 - Top-Quality Transparent Building Material by Steve Campbell

The negative reviews speak for themselves that they didn't pay attention to the product description. They are thin as pasta, which I personally needed. They don't have to be as strong as steel either. I'm not sure what you were expecting. For small crafts and small projects, they are amazing. I make tiny crafts and can even trim them with scissors (although they will fly away from you, so aim carefully). Overall I will buy more. The best 1/16 I could find.
