Not enough power to charge?

I have two outdoor Wyze cameras, I plan to buy two more. I bought this UYODM version with three packs, no internal battery, and also bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08VHTVNDM, [Wasserstein Solar Panel Compatible with Wyze Cam Outdoor - Continuously power your security camera with the Charging 2W 5V (1 piece, black)]. This is similar but the solar panel has an internal 5 volt battery. I'm assuming the sun charges the solar panel's internal battery and the solar panel's battery charges the camera's battery. Because it has NO internal battery, the camera charges directly from the solar panel. The charge indicator lights up on sunny days and, as expected, goes off at night. Now I'm wondering if the camera's battery will discharge back into the solar panel at night. Does it have a BLOCKING DIOD to prevent this? Wasserstein's version says it's 2W and this UYODM version says 3.5W. FYI, Wasserstein's version keeps my camera charged from 95 to 100%. Even now, my camera shows a 99% charge, . and the UYODM version shows my camera at 11%. Both cameras were 100% charged from a home outlet 3 weeks ago. Both cameras look at my chicken coop from two different angles. I could return them and get the Wasserstein version. I will try turning the solar panel off overnight to see if the camera battery feeds back into the solar panel. For example, I might need to install a blocking diode.

Pros
  • ✔ 15 FEET CABLE: If your camera and solar panel don't have an ideal mounting location, a sufficiently long cable gives you more freedom of action. You don't have to worry about the distance limit.
Cons
  • Operating speed
