I used to make address art
I had to paint over the blue outline with painter's tape first, then tape over the red stripes as per the template and then spray on the white stars. I then had to cover everything but the red stripes and finally covered everything and sprayed over the numbers with a separate cut I made. I thought it came out pretty good, but I'm sure it will look even better with more practice.
