Couldn’t figure it out

Looks high quality, but I could not figure out how to blow it up. There was a clear plastic part that had an arrow pointing to a valve, but I just couldn’t figure out how to inflate it. There were no instructions given, so by the time I was able to blow it up, I had ripped a hole through the clear plastic and it could no longer hold air. It’s probably my fault, but I tried for around 10 minutes before I got to that point.
