This is a really good quality wax warmer. Gigi is a trusted brand in the industry so I knew it would be good when I ordered it, but for under $25 I wasn't expecting too much other than basic satisfaction. Nonetheless, I absolutely love this heater. It heats up quickly and the temperature control allows you to really control the temperature of the wax or the heat required to melt different types of wax that melt at different temperatures. On first use I set the pot to M and the wax melted in less than an hour, but it wasn't too hot and the wax felt comfortable on my face. I've been a hairstylist for over 15 years but recently quit. field, but I still needed something to support myself and my daughter's needs at home. The perfect heater for us. I would even say I would feel safe using this in my salon if I were still in the business. Many heating pads don't melt the wax evenly and leave the center set, but not this one. Very impressed with that. I usually set it to M and it does the job well. The size is perfect; not too bulky. Good thick cord that will last me for many years. I use Gigi Honee Base Wax with this heating pad and I think these two pairs are a great match. This is a great choice for a heater and you really can't go wrong using it at home or in the salon. Five stars.
