I have arthritis in my hands and was having trouble getting it onto the steering wheel. I was about to give up when I decided to warm up the lid. The minimum temperature in my oven is 170 degrees. I preheated the oven and then turned it on for about 10 minutes. I put baking sheets underneath in case it melts. (That didn't happen.) I used a hot pillow to carry it to the car and then I was able to stretch it enough to put it on, but it was still tight. It's cool, great fit. Your results may vary.
