Does only one color need to be displayed? Fn+Insert and then the pause key for the loop.

Well I've had this keyboard for a week now. When I first received it there was nothing in the box but paper with the company's name and a few scan codes for instructions. Well, if you don't have a phone that reads them, then do it yourself as the company's website doesn't show this keyboard at all. I played around with all the settings on the sales page but there was no way to get the damn thing to only keep one color. Rainbow and wave effects look cool and such, but if you try to tap and find a specific key, you'll have fun. So after scouring their website and other sites for about 30-40 minutes to find the missing setting for only one color to choose from, I finally stumbled across this. Fn+Ins gives you the option to select a spot color. If you then press the pause button it will cycle through the different colors to choose from. Before I found this, I almost thought I'd have to send the keyboard back. And that would suck because I really like this board. The quality is very good and solid. Love the fact that the Num Lock and Caps Locks glow blue when activated instead of an old red LED at the top of the keyboard. The keys are really great but takes some getting used to when you're used to a cheap keyboard like the ones I've had for years. Sounds. The only downside I have with this keyboard is the palm rest. In use, it's very nice to have it attached to the keyboard and to be able to get it out of the way when needed. But the plastic is very thin and flexes when used on the lap. It would be nice if they put the same quality as on the keyboard and palm rest. It's almost as if the palm rest was an afterthought and added at the last minute. In terms of feel and looks. Just great. In fact, I'm using this review to teach my fingers how to grip the keys properly again. This keyboard looks a lot like the typewriter I learned to type on in high school, which had a round ball that bounced around as I typed (yes, I'm showing my age here). have been used for the past decade and it takes time to retrain your hands and fingers to reach for the keys. If you've never used an old-style keyboard before, this will be a learning curve for you. But once you learn it, your typing speed will increase as you will be much more confident about which keys you actually typed since you really feel each hit. Overall this is a good quality keyboard and I hope it is. takes a long time. The time will show. When it arrived via UPS, the last thing I remembered was that it wasn't in the protective box. It was in the original slim box and didn't even have tape on the tabs. They just tagged him and he left. Not a very good way to send products through the mail. Any hard hit or fall would likely break some keys. Glad it arrived with no problems.
