I confess I was skeptical about blue filter glasses. I have never used them. I ordered 1.25 diopter readers and tried them out for a week using them on my computer, tablets and smartphones. I am no longer a skeptic. When you wear them, everything you see is a muted yellow cast. I wasn't happy with them at first but after giving them some time I love them now. I don't have that eye strain when looking at computers or tablets. It just "soothes" my eyes. I only wear them for this purpose. For other things, like reading a magazine or newspaper, I use clear lenses. The kit includes five pairs of lenses, ONE cloth lens case and an amazingly absorbent lens cloth. A good range of colors too. Nose width 1/2 inch. This is perfect for those of us like me who don't have a broad bridge of the nose. The lenses are large for viewing large areas at once. The hinges have springs that relieve pain in the temples. 1.25D seems to be correct. So far I have no complaints about them.
