Review on IRIS USA, Inc. Red Plastic Shell Bar Stool, 2-Pack by Liz Taylor

My favorite bar seat - easy to assemble, looks great

My kids love it! They are certainly strong enough for adults too. If your kitchen has a bar counter with an island or peninsula, that's great! The style is different enough to be attractive. The plastic is VERY easy to clean. They are of good quality and look nice. I'm so glad they're partially assembled. The lower part is fully assembled. All you have to do is put 4 screws in each seat. All you need is the included Allen key. You lay the chair on its side, slide the washer over the screw, tighten slightly, repeat for 4 screws, center all 4 holes, tighten the screws as tight as you can, turn the chair over, have the adult sit on it , and tighten the front screws. The metal of the front two screws is not at a perfect angle. In the end, an adult sat on it so the weight pressed them together so I could finish dressing. Oh, it comes with 4 felt stickers on the bottom of the seat bolt holes. I moved them to the bottom of the legs because there is no way to get the screws through the felt pads. The directions don't mention them, so they were a bit strange where they were. When they are together I love them very much. The seat height of 28" is just right for our luggage rack height (43" including the backrest). The height is not adjustable. If I try to fault something, I can say that the seats do not swivel. This is a plus for me as children play a lot more with swivel seats. Oh yes, and the color is a little more yellow and less creamy than in the picture. In another person's photo, the color is clearly visible. I like these. They feel solid and built to last. They are easy to clean. There is a style. The base is made of wood and metal, and the plastic seat doesn't feel cheap. I really recommend it!
