The BEST shoes for picky kids!

Guys these are really cool shoes! I am having a very VERY difficult and horrible time finding shoes for my 11 year old daughter. She has so many problems with clothes and shoes and will only wear anything if it reaches the pinnacle of comfort. And these shoes did it! She wears a child's size 4 (this size can also be changed to a women's 5.5D) and I had a truckload of shoes delivered for her to try on. According to my daughter, there was something wrong with every pair except this one. She loved them immediately because they were very comfortable and she also liked that they were simple but not too simple due to the style of the saddle. She called them "tuxedo shoes." She said they are roomy but fit perfectly. I checked to make sure her fingers are landing in the right place and they fit really perfectly, roomy. We didn't have to sacrifice the fit for comfort because she has room to wiggle her toes, but because the length is true to her size, her heels don't slip when she walks. My daughter's only complaint with these shoes is that they get hot on her feet when playing outside in warm weather. We live in the desert and it was over 110 degrees today so her feet got pretty warm during the break. The shoes do not have ventilation eyelets, so heat cannot escape as easily. They are true to the width, so those with wider feet don't feel like their feet are being squeezed all day. They also have a good insole with a nice arch. I'm learning how hard it is to find really wide shoes with good arch support, and as long as my daughter enjoys wearing those shoes, I'm happy to buy her one. These shoes are also very well made. Seriously, they're impressively built. I remember having leather sneakers as a teenager and I also remember wearing them until eventually I outgrew them and they were still in good condition to pass on to my younger cousin. These shoes really stood the test and the ones I bought for my daughter seem up to the same test. All seams are very strong and sewn perfectly, but the skin remains supple and soft. The soles have excellent traction and are durable yet flexible. Heck, even the laces feel better than what you usually get in tennis shoes. My daughter hasn't said anything about it so I won't tell her but these are not lightweight shoes. Remember the days when athletic shoes weren't made with a lightweight foam midsole and mesh upper? Back when it seemed like there was some kind of substance in the shoes? These are shoes like that. If you absolutely want featherweight shoes, this style isn't for you. Parts of the shoe have thick padding and the soles are heavy and durable. Put simply, if you throw these shoes at someone's head, it's going to hurt. Personally I give these shoes 5 stars because I'm so happy I found comfortable shoes for my picky daughter. They are very well made and it is almost impossible to find wide shoes with good arch support. As long as you know what you're getting in terms of the weight and warmth of these shoes (and I've really tried to spell it all), you should find them comfortable and durable.
