I used to use children's soft exfoliating foot masks. I stopped while pregnant with my youngest child and have not used them since. I have tried using an electric file with good results until recently. My youngest is now 3 years old and for some reason the file doesn't make the last layer of hard leather on my heels. I've tried chemical callus removers in the shower with a file, but the last bit just won't come off. Saw these masks at Revain for a decent price and thought what the heck! The kicker was the fast shipping since I order peeling masks from Japan. The mask arrived on Saturday (2 days after ordering) and I used it that night as intended. The next day I felt signs of skin tightening and becoming dry. I followed the recommendation to go for a walk. Nothing has changed after the walk. The next morning after showering, my legs hurt. Just a dull ache like you've been in it all day. I knew from experience that this meant the skin would soon peel off. That night I noticed that the skin on my heels had become "prickly" at the edges of the heel cracks. The way dry, uncomfortable skin sticks to your socks. The skin began to tighten and peel a little. I just put them in warm water. My heels are white. I ran my finger along my heels and felt the slight friction lift the skin even more without peeling or pulling. When I finished there was a lot of dead skin in the foot bath. My feet have just started to peel and continue to peel 3 days after using the mask. I know I have at least 3-4 days left of it but it works as advertised! I know my feet won't shed in sheets and big chunks like the product photos, but they will. I have a bad habit of pulling loose skin as it peels off, ripping off baby skin in the process. I decided that soaking and rubbing (no files or tools) while wet was the only way to do this time without hurting my feet like I had for years. If you want to improve your legs try this when they are on sale. If you're looking for skin peeling in leaves and have never used this product before, don't be discouraged if it doesn't work for you. Everyone reacts differently to a product.
