The whole time I thought one of my monitors was going to die it changed color to orange and yellow and was ready to go into the walking trash can. I decided to give it one last chance and went through the clutter of my Mac mini and all of its peripherals and swapped out the cables for my more expensive Samsung monitor and suddenly that monitor started displaying a bunch of crazy colors. All the time there was a stupid cable. I ordered this replacement and don't you know both monitors are displaying normally again. I saved $200 or more by not replacing the monitor.
