My 5 year old cat never scratched our furniture until we got another pet recently. He decided to vent his displeasure at not being an only child by taking it out on our family's leather sofa. He stopped using his traditional scratching post and the cardboard scratching posts. I tried several deterrents but nothing worked. I've had the product on the couch for a week and it's back on his scratching post. Also, he tried not to scratch other parts of the sofa. Choose this product if you need something to protect your furniture. This product is very functional and I am 100% satisfied with it.
