I recommend ordering a size down, our daughter is 7 and very slim, I ordered 6 and it was still a little loose on her. In addition, this is a beautiful dress at a great price. She received so many compliments but more importantly she loved the dress. She twirled all day enjoying her flowy dress and told us she felt like a princess. We are so happy with this purchase.
