Especially in winter when the morning is dark, I like to wake up to the light. This alarm clock gently wakes you up with an increasingly intense glow. I use the "birdsong setting" for the alarm so I don't get woken up by a beep. Birdsong sounds natural. I still had one of those alarm clocks with rather unnatural-sounding "natural" sounds. The clock is durable and easy to set. Like others I had to turn it to face the wall as I find the clock too bright in the middle of the night and even then the clock gives off a faint glow which doesn't bother me. Highly recommended.
