, I am a terrible, bad, disgusting cook. If asked to contribute to a shared meal, I can only offer a salad. It's a greasy, flavorful, unhealthy, and interesting salad, mind you, but it's a boring old salad nonetheless. I always feel like a girl bringing salads to dinner even though they are very good because I AM the salad queen. Enter THIS BOWL! It took my salad game to the next level! I no longer feel like half a heel with a salad. I now feel like I'm contributing to the evening's SIGNATURE menu! People will be talking about THIS salad in this bowl for years to come! This plate makes my salads look delicious! Fascinating! Exotic, dare I say it! And, most importantly, it travels light! If, as is our habit, we're running late and I absentmindedly toss a couple of bottles of wine and my salad in the trunk and then drive on in a late-night panic that causes the contents of the trunk to crash into each other, well - I don't have to worry smashing a glass salad bowl or smashing the crappy plastic bowls I used! or the fragile will break and die. I don't have to worry about my clumsy husband willy-nilly throwing a cast-iron skillet at her; he throws this thing at EVERYTHING. Beautiful design, very durable. This is a very wide and shallow bowl. It's a bit pricey; but for what it does to my salad, the price is worth it!
