Excellent budget touch controls

This is my third pair of headphones (Future Plus, F1 and now G10) and I have to say I'm very impressed with the value for money. They're not perfect, but they're pretty close, especially in the $100 range. The earbuds are very well made, with a silver logo on the touchpads - a slight design change from the all-black F1s; the magnetic case is elegant and quite small, but has enough power to use it regularly for a few days. Another upgrade for the G10 is a USB-C charging port instead of micro-USB. This tiny charging case isn't as powerful or versatile as the F1 case (which can be used as a backup power source), but you can't have everything. For everyday use, I prefer the smaller body of the G10. The touch controls in the G10 are super responsive, much better in my opinion than the F1 which can feel slow at times. I love the fact that these headphones let you control phone calls, playback options, voice support and volume, and you can use both headphones for full control (only the volume is left/right oriented for obvious reasons), plus the headphones switch between stereo/ Mono mode is almost no problem. The F1s are very comfortable but when trying the G10s I was surprised at how light and barely noticeable they were - definitely an improvement for me, they felt great even when laying on a pillow. Like the F1, the G10 doesn't have active noise cancellation, but the design effectively blocks background noise. The only downside is that my ears sweat after about 3-4 hours of continuous use of the headphones. So far I've been a big fan of the F1's, which have a well-rounded sound, albeit with a little less bass than the leading brands (Beats or Sony). The G10 is very similar in this respect: excellent, crisp sound for voice services such as phone calls, audiobooks, podcasts or shows is good for music, but don't expect heavy bass and the sound can be classified as premium. As for the game mode, I haven't been able to test it on any game because I don't do it on my phone, but I've used it to stream movies in high quality and surprisingly, the only thing I can say about it is that he felt the volume was a little lower than in "normal" mode. Other than that, I haven't noticed much of a difference as I haven't had any audio issues in the past three weeks of use. As I mentioned before, they aren't perfect and one of the downsides is definitely the short range. I had connection issues when I was about 40 feet from my phone, or about 30 feet when between floors/walls in the house. But then again, I don't see this as a big issue and definitely not a deciding factor when looking at all the other features. The only thing I miss about the G10 headphones is the "pass-through" option for extraneous noise. The snug fit is very good at blocking out all noise, but sometimes I want to be able to hear people without having to constantly take my headphones off, it's also safer to have this option when running or in traffic situations. Between my main Sony WF-SP800N headphones (which look HUGE next to the G10!), F1 and G10, I've decided to use the G10 for everyday use (walking the dog, listening to audiobooks/podcasts before bed, etc.). keep and give the F1 to my friend. With that in mind, I can definitely recommend the G10 as a great wireless option, especially if you're looking for a budget pair but with more control options and great sound!
