Terrible to break in and still not very comfortable

I have had these shoes for a few months now and have followed every recommendation I could find to break them in with almost no success. The upper part of the right clog is very tight and causes pain in the right leg. I wear them for several hours a day, gradually increasing the wearing time to no avail, I've gotten them to professional stretching to no avail. I finally gave up these very expensive work shoes when the pain in my feet persisted even though I wasn't wearing them, but for the price I paid I went back to them and started breaking them in again. After another hiatus, I can last a shift in these shoes, but the collaboration is terrible. Also, the top of the right boot is still so tight that I can't sit or ride in it due to the angle of the foot in the shoe. The shoes are well made with quality material and great arch support so I don't have any back pain. at the end of the day but my legs hurt. As a professional chef I am up for up to 14 hours a day but these clogs are only good for 6-8 hours after which my legs start to hurt, the top of my right leg hurts and the bottom of both legs hurt. . The soles of these clogs are hard rubber, and while they offer great grip, the hardness of my soles is killer, even when I'm standing on non-fatigue ground. Even if I didn't have issues with the top of my right foot, they would still be very uncomfortable at the end of the day. Their soles are quite high and hard, and the leather they are made of is also very hard. So they walk a little differently when you wear them as they don't flex under your foot. The clogs are water repellent, easy to clean and really slip resistant which matches the overall quality which is why I gave them the 2 stars I gave them but as far as comfort goes look elsewhere or go to a Dansko store and let yourself be customized . These Danskos are perhaps the most uncomfortable shoes I own which is very disappointing given the price. Because they are so expensive I will still try to break them or stretch the top of my right clog but I really regret ever buying them. If I manage to make them more bearable I will update this review.
