How to decide if you should buy this controller: 1) Do you play games? 2) Do you play these games on your PC? (or Xbox 360 if you don't mind cables running through your living room) Then buy this controller. I spent a lot of time looking for affordable pc pads, even bought a Nyko Airflow pc controller as it was very cheap. But once it arrived, I realized that as long as this thing exists, all other PC controllers are utterly meaningless. It's light years better than the Nyko controller I've used (it got pretty good reviews btw) and without a doubt better than anything else (this comes from the fact that I used to play on PS3 before switching to my PC , so yes I'm familiar with Dualshock ). And here's why: 1) Build quality - it fits your hands perfectly, and all the sticks and buttons feel and work like a dream. Sometimes I just pick up the controller and click the sticks and buttons in my hand even when it's not connected to the network, it's just SO beautiful. I also heard that it takes too long. I was concerned about the D-pad, which I heard was the weak point of this controller, but even that works great and feels great. 2) Compatibility - It works with almost everything (except PS3 or Wii of course). , lol) almost from the moment of connection. I might have had to install a quick Windows driver, but after that it worked instantly and flawlessly with every game I tried on my PC - Mass Effect 2, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed 2 and Project64 feel like they're ready for this controller . (By the way, Project 64 was a huge plus for me - prior to using the Nyko controller, I had trouble getting analog sticks to register their full range of n64 stick emulation. With the NRage controller plugin, the Xbox handles 360 controller, this is a dream with a range of around 64%). I've also heard that in the future this will be the only controller supported for certain PC games, so not only will you be safe from the past but also from the future (you had no trouble with that). in older games like Halo and Need for Speed too) 3) Sexuality - what else needs to be said. I used to be a fan of Dualshock and was reluctant to buy one as the only gaming systems I want are PC and PS3 and it would be excellent to be able to use my Dualshock for both purposes, but now I can say with confidence : I have no regrets buying this thing, it kicks Dualshock out of the water and this controller will never offer the amazing PC compatibility that has become essential for me at the moment.
