My son wanted to hardwire his gaming computer to our modem; However, his computer is on the opposite side of the house. Running the cable through the ceiling was a better alternative to running it through the floor (trip hazard) and these clamps do the job really well. They only took a few minutes to install and have held up well in our normally humid home. The cord is barely visible; We intentionally left some slack because he needs to close the door through the cord from time to time and this helps not to over tighten the tension. The package price was great. I might use some of the Christmas lights addons next year. I haven't tried uninstalling them yet, but I don't usually have problems with these types of products. I highly recommend them if you need to get the cord out of the way or hang it close to a wall or ceiling.
