What a great product! Being able to connect any MIDI instrument to my Wii and use it to play a rock band is one of the few times technology has really blown me away and made my life better. Instead of falling into the trap of buying a pathetic little rock band kit (and paying extortionate prices for it since it's been discontinued), I was able to buy a professional kit (!) at a lower price. than a cheap plastic rock band kit, and use it to play. The best part is that if I ever switched to PS3 or XBox I could just get another small adapter device and keep using my kit. Or if at some point I get bored playing, I can sell the kit to the drummer. The same does not apply to the Rock Band drum kit! But in case you're wondering, it's not just limited to drums. This can be toggled to work with keyboards or even MIDI guitars! I can't say enough how wonderful it is when people do things that really improve my life and don't treat me like a 'consumer' whose only duty in life is to keep buying more and more worthless, useless things to buy .
