Adorable costume. Velcro straps make it eastern to put on. My granddaughter is a size 7 and it fits her just right. The button came loose the first time you put it on. The button is for show as the Velcro is used to fasten the front and back of the apron. I would recommend doing this in a larger size as well. Bigger kids can really get involved in imaginative play by running a restaurant or grocery store, and they can learn math, customer service and reading texts. Size 7-8, 8-10 is perfect for elementary school kids. We have a playroom for the grandkids full of fun kitchen toys from Melissa and Doug. We have chef outfit.
