I bought this for my daughter because she loves getting to draw on my husbands phone (He has a note9). She’s only 2 years old and lately has been very interested in drawing, coloring, practicing shapes, etc. but she gets frustrated using her magna-doodle type board because the pen is connected by a string and the erase bar on the bottom sometimes gets stuck. This board isn’t like that at all and she LOVES it! The pen secures nicely on the top of the board but can be easily removed and when you’re using it, you’re not bound by a string. I love that you can erase with just a press of a button. My toddler loves that too. Also I noticed if u press lightly, the line is thinner and if you press down a little harder the line is thicker, like if you were drawing with a marker. It is so thin and very lightweight. It came with two optional magnetic strips for the back as well as an extra battery, stylus, and the cutest little screwdriver for use when changing the battery. All around I am very impressed with the product.
