My fiance loves these mugs. We bought these early in quarantine while working from home and they were the best we've ever made. I've never thought of using a homemade thermos, but this one is great. I usually pour myself 1/2 or 1/4 cup because I drink very slowly and it's still cold when I'm done. This mug will keep you warm. We found it got too hot at times so I usually pour my coffee in the morning and leave the lid on while I change, then it stays the perfect temperature for the rest of the day! Once I even switched to iced coffee and the next morning there were ice cubes in the cup!
