I received the Polare Passport Protector in the mail today and it is exactly like the picture. My passport goes on the right and the space for my cards and money is on the left. I chose black leather because it looks more subtle and mysterious compared to brown leather. I love that the passport holder has RFID blocking. Especially at the airport where there are so many people; It's hard to understand who is trying to steal your card details. The leather has a smooth black satin finish and does not look easily scratched compared to brown leather. The seams are dense, even, there are no protruding threads. The packaging could have been better if you are looking to give this item as a gift as it came without a gift box. The passport cover is simply wrapped in white padded foil and covered with plastic. I can't tell if it's real leather or polyurethane (PU) leather as there aren't any labels or stamps on either the inside or outside of the cover stating what the material is made of . In most cases, there is a branding saying "Real Leather" inside. The company logo name is not printed or sewn into the lining if you are looking for something decent without unnecessary advertising. At the current price, I don't mind if the passport cover is made of black faux leather.
