These labels are very strong and almost unbreakable. They also hide your personal information because it's very difficult to figure out how to open it to see what's behind the first line (presumably your name). You can prank me for having trouble opening mine. But I used the tag once on a trip last year when for some reason my registered bag never made it onto the plane. And I spent two weeks without my stuff because (1) it was lost at the departure airport with no flight information on it and (2) when it was lost and found at the airport the nice gentleman couldn't figure out how to open it either. He finally opened it and called me and I was reunited with my bag when I flew home. (You shouldn't have sent it to me by then.) Mr Lost and Found was very nice and helpful and he noted how difficult it was to open the label. I told him I had the same problem and I wouldn't mind if he smashed it with a hammer. Bottom line: All my stuff was in perfect order when I picked it up at home and I threw away those tags and got something less secure.
