These towels have arrived in vibrant and rich colors. They were plastic, soft to the touch, and smelled only faintly of dye. They looked great and are still soft and absorbent, but after 7 washes they're still fluffing like crazy. I washed/dry them twice the day I got them to get rid of the lint and it's pretty much the same as it was. Nothing. The attached photo shows the ball of lint after the 7th pass through the dryer and also shows how much lint is now on all machines. My bathroom is covered in turquoise lint and I haven't even had time to use my bath towels properly because I have to constantly hop in the shower to wash off the lint and dry myself with my old towels, which luckily I didn't throw away . a while. 7 washes cold wash only and the color is ok but will definitely fade. Until the lint is gone, who knows if the paint will stay in place. I took a chance and now I don't have the cost of two sets of these. (in the photo there are villi from ONE set after the SEVENTH wash and dry) I want to like these towels, but for now they're just annoying. Maybe they'll get colored nicely, but come on. SEVEN wash and dry cycles and they're still that bad?!
