***Warning: the smell is awful*****. We bought 4 of these for our cats. We have 3 of them and according to the instructions they should only be kept for 1 hour so that there is no reaction. We immediately noticed the strong smell of these collars. After an hour we took them off and put them back in the box. Next morning we went downstairs and the smell was terrible. You can try it was so bad. We had to place these items outside. We packed them and sent the goods back. When I took them to the UPS box, my car stunk. I didn't feel comfortable throwing them in the UPS box.
