Review on Carter 169 1002 Fuel Check Valve by David Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what it should be

For those who need details, here they are: 1/4 FNPT threads on both ends, 45 gph flow and 1 psi cracking pressure. Diesel fuel transfer application where I pumped from auxiliary tank to main tank of vehicles. I add this to prevent the pump from backfeeding and causing the pump to run dry. The pump operates/delivers at 2-3 psi (has a built in mechanical pressure gauge). There are no problems with the device sticking when the pump is running. Recommended for similar applications.

Pros
  • Brass construction
Cons
  • Good, but not great
