Having owned almost a dozen pairs of different models from this brand I have come to the conclusion that they know what they are doing. I have wide feet and sensitive little fingers and I get irritated easily. They're built on a wider than usual platform to accommodate wider feet, and internal construction offers more cushioning. Their outsole is quite durable and offers good grip, cushioning and durability. This is more than durable slippers! I go out a lot at night to exercise and keep one pair just for that and other pairs for daily change of shoes. I have a method where I don't wear the same shoes two days in a row. I air out the pair I'm wearing today and put on another pair tomorrow. It seems to have significantly increased the life of my shoes. As for the construction of these shoes, I haven't torn a seam or worn a single detail. They fit my feet well and I brush them down with daily dirt and also treat them with leather conditioner on leather models. It's all fabric and the fabric is like a heavy canvas and the stitching is solid. With them I will clean them with a soft brush to remove dirt and dust from wearing. I will be using a soft damp cloth regularly to keep them clean and wiping down the soles and sides of the rubber to keep them looking tidy. I wear them both to work in the office and on weekends when I go shopping. I predict they will hold up well and you will like them.
