I purchased this in good faith knowing it was a UV sterilizer for my 65 gallon tank. My old sterilizer went through too many bulbs and was a few years old. so it's time for an update. So. I ordered this block. I put it in the tank and found that it has no water intake or drainage system. So I read the instructions and didn't understand most of them because the English wasn't the best. They tried, I have to give props for it. But the steps just weren't clear. Set a timer to run 3 hours a day. This is the lowest setting available on the device. I set it up for early morning. When I woke up the next morning at least 7 fish were dead! I've had all of these fish for over 3 years! All of them are strong and healthy fish. The one I lost has been around longer than any of the others. I got it from a friend and it has lived in my aquarium for at least 4 years. This type is known as "Golden Plecostimus". In other words, "Sucker Fish". PLEKOS GENERALLY IS HARD TO KILL! That evening he was healthy and happy. In the morning he was dead. among other things. : 2 Zebrafish, 2 Giant Zebrafish, 1 Cherry Barbel, 1 Guppy and 12" Plecostimus. That's 7 fish! I was upset. PLEASE DO NOT BUY!
