"I got what I paid for" doesn't mean it's bad, but in this case it means I paid little and got it cheap. The base material of the mouse pad and keyboard wrist pad is 1/8 inch thick, they don't want to lay completely flat on the table. My old flat mouse pad was twice as thick and lasted for many years and the new ones are just too thin and curl around the edges. Other than that they do the job and are quite comfortable and should last a while. I will most likely keep them because I don't think I can do any better in this price range and I don't want to pay more than $20 for a keyboard and mouse pad. It also looks like I'll pay more for the same mats as one other name on them.
