I bought another pillow mainly to curb my snoring but also to allow me to sleep on my back now and then to ease my shoulder problems. This pillow, which was REALLY expensive, had too much tilt. I kept sliding down and ended up sleeping at the base. Another problem was that it was huge. This pillow has a smoother slope and is relatively firm, but the best part is that it's just over 60cm wide. Many of the ones I looked at were over or about two and a half feet wide, which occupied my queen-size bed. It's wide enough. The width, firmness and incline make this pillow perfect for me (I use it with a regular pillow on top). There is no real adjustment period and I mostly sleep on my side. Although my pillow had a slight odor, I was able to use it right away. I don't even notice the smell now (day three). And the price was great.
