My biggest gripe is the glossy screen. Like laptop displays, monitors come with glossy rather than matte screens. A glossy screen can make dark areas of the image appear deeper and less blurry in bright ambient light. However, it can also reflect light objects in space like a mirror. I can't use this monitor after sunset without a headache because of the glare from the lamp behind me and/or my overhead light that makes it very difficult to see what I'm doing. The picture is sharp and I like that this monitor has a native resolution of 1080 at 60Hz. I prefer a mouse but when I used the touchscreen it was very responsive. As with all built-in speakers (even today's giant TVs), this monitor has lousy speakers, but I've heard worse. Any external speaker made in the last 20 years will perform better. The monitor base is the monitor stand that is used to support the screen. You can tilt the monitor further by pulling the stand out further, but you cannot keep the monitor fully upright or it will fall face down. You can wall mount it (it conforms to international VESA standards), but it's not practical for my setup (and I think most touchscreen setups).
