PERFECT professional laptop backpack

I bought this bag as soon as the self-isolation measures went into effect, so I have not yet been able to use it for its intended purpose (travelling to work with a laptop). But it's awesome and I can't wait to use it! I wanted a backpack that I can carry in place of a handbag when I have to commute to work with my laptop, something that looks professional and "grown up" enough to take to meetings and after-work happy hour, but it would be handy to carry around. around and commute with them even when they are full. After looking at an incredible number of laptop backpacks I'm so glad I bought this one - it's everything I wanted! First of all, it is beautifully made with excellent quality materials and the design is very elegant and stylish. It's made of thick canvas-like material with some faux leather panels. The zippers are plastic and the pull tabs are light, but overall the zippers are large and seem to be of decent quality as long as they close easily. I like that the main compartment has a double zipper. I just want the zippers to be metallic and either silver or black - I'm not a big fan of gold. I was a bit apprehensive about the light blue interior, but inside it's a much more muted turquoise (almost Tiffany blue) and I really like it - it also makes things (buttons in particular) easier to find. We'll see how it holds up to dirt/discoloration over time. The backpack is big enough for everything I need, but still slim and not bulky as the pockets don't protrude everywhere. The outer drink pockets don't stretch, but they're perfect for my 40-ounce refillable water bottle (although I usually carry them indoors) and hold an umbrella well if needed. There are many pockets in the main compartment: 1 large one for a laptop; one for tablet/iPad; pair for pens / pencils; 2 deep for everything (I put a folding brush, mirror, lipstick, lip balm, wipes and small bottle of hand sanitizer in one of mine and there's still plenty of room) and a large front zip - great for passports/travel documents on the go ( RFID would be desirable). A luggage strap on the back that can be threaded through the handle of a suitcase is also very handy when traveling and is made of a similar material to a seat belt so it should be fairly durable. There are also 2 exterior front vertical zip pockets which are ideal for easy access to your phone, headphones, subway pass, sunglasses and even a small umbrella while commuting. I like that the padded laptop and tablet pockets are quite thick and offer good protection. The back also has very thick padding so I hope to be comfortable on my back when commuting. My 15.6" laptop fits perfectly and my 14" laptop has plenty of room. The backpack itself is fairly light, making it easily manageable with a large laptop, an iPad, a couple of notepads and folders, a wallet, keys, a phone, a water bottle, an umbrella, and even a change of clothes. Shoes in (and everything fits in a lot of space). An extra small cosmetic bag, the perfect size (about 9" x 6") for my laptop charger, is made from the same canvas material and lined with the same turquoise fabric. Haven't been able to ride it to work yet so don't know yet if the straps are comfortable when full and I'm walking/driving for a long time - they're soft but not quite like my old Jansport and they don't have an ergonomic one though Shape. I love that there are little elastic loops that you can tuck the extra length of strap into after tightening them over your shoulders to keep the extra length of strap from just flapping around. The only possible weak point I can find - and this has been mentioned by other reviewers - is the top handle - it's not very thick, despite being made of a double layer of leather and a seat belt-like material. It's hard to explain, but it just doesn't seem strong enough to hold a bag when it's full of stuff/heavy. I don't normally use this handle (I just grab the straps) so I hope this isn't a problem. I haven't been exposed to rain either, so we'll see if it's waterproof. Хотя мне это, вероятно, не понадобится, я протестировал USB-порт для зарядки, и он отлично работает, и будет приятно иметь его, если когда-нибудь понадобится, особенно во время полета (я также рад, что шнур внутри легко убирается, когда not used). For the money I am VERY happy with the quality and style of this laptop bag. When I start commuting and traveling again and abusing it on a daily basis I will update my review if there are any issues.
