Try using a different LED controller to get the desired effect!
The only thing I can add to other reviews and questions is this. If you need a specific pattern or function, just use another LED controller. I'm not talking about a remote control, but a small device that you connect to the beginning of the LED strip. I use all sorts of brands of 12V LED bulbs, mix and match them together and when I don't need them I just use another LED controller until I get the results I want. I suppose I can add one more tidbit; Forget those Bluetooth and Wi-Fi controllers if you can. Those with physical buttons or a matching remote work best and give you more features and control.
