Last month I traded in my stock speakers for these 6.5 inch Sony speakers, 2 front and 2 rear. I installed it professionally to save time. Without changing the standard head unit, I specified a maximum output of 160 watts. These speakers are 50W RMS so I figured they would equate to 160W/4. They sound clear and have a full range of sounds as a 4-way speaker. I tried every kind of music to break it up. I concluded they lacked deep bass, especially for hip-hop. Great for rock and alternative, mids get punchy after a while. You can hear clear vocals like I never knew Ed Sheeran's voice was hoarse. So yes, these are great speakers, but don't expect bass.
