I wanted a laptop bag. Oh yes, it can carry a charger. Maybe a power bank. Oh, and my Switch Lite and a licensed Anker power bank for charging. And an 8bitdo controller, some USB-C cables, a Bluetooth keyboard that I can use to write code on my phone. And it should be quite small and suitable for rain, and my lady won't be upset for the price. Much luck. Aside from everything I mentioned, I still have room for a light jacket and some notebooks, maybe a water bottle if I'm confident. The laptop sleeve is well padded, reinforced at the bottom corners, and fits my Asus ROG G14 snugly, but not so tight that it's difficult to get in or out. Also, it's very soft and won't scratch my computer! The bag has multiple pockets for organization but not so many as to be bulky. This is great for me because I'm more of a quick painter than a neat freak, and since this bag is smaller than your average Jansport, I won't be stuffing stuff in there to fill the space, making for a messy mess. It's the perfect balance of "enough space for what I need" and "just enough to prevent overpacking". , but I'd trust this bag for a quarter-mile walk in a moderate drizzle, no problem. The front pocket, I have a flat but kinda huge inside, against all the pesky laws of physics, is ready for a downpour, and the rest of the bag is advertised as leakproof. The fabric feels very stretchy and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a very effective water barrier and the lining is REALLY dense. I haven't researched every brand of zipper and while this zipper seems very tight and stiff, it doesn't close with a rubber membrane. However, I am very confident that this might keep my gear completely secure in heavy rain, but I would think twice about doing a long hike in the rainy season. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with the level of protection. I get protection, comfort, style and space, especially considering the price! This is my second Tomtoc purchase, the first being the Switch Lite case and I'm getting more and more excited about the company.
