Customers looking for Kalani/MDB Crescent 5 inch deep fitted sheets are going to have a VERY hard time finding linens. The American Baby Company had many recommendations, but their sheets are perfect for 3-inch mattresses and offer a 2-inch secure fit at the bottom. A "barely" stretch up to 5 inches for cotton sheets (flannel fabrics may vary) is too unsafe for baby - there's too much risk of sheets riding up, not to mention the simple inconvenience of a less secure fit. I will keep these sheets but I'm glad I only bought a few. I had to buy bed sheet hooks to keep the edges tight and secure. I don't want my child to be endangered by ruffled sheets. I resorted to making my own sheets as I have sewing skills. After some random internet searching I have to suggest Carousel Designs at babybedding.com which has the perfect size of sheets made specifically for a standard 3 inch or 5 inch mini crib mattress. There is no need to get "non-standard" leaves. You get exactly the depth you want and the designs are numerous. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's no good for a custom 5-inch Kalani/MDB Crescent mattress.
