Better with it than without

I have a lot of experience with silicone kitchen accessories, know the pros and cons and pretty much know what I'm getting when I order it, but I had your opinion. Causes. Pros: 1) I keep my water heater at 140 degrees and years later I can stick my hands in it and endure the pain, but it's not comfortable. These gloves are much thicker than the latex kitchen gloves you can buy at the grocery store, and hot water isn't a problem. 2) Smelly sponges make me so sick especially when washing clothes for drinks. There's nothing worse than raising a glass of good wine to your lips only to smell that odd smell of moldy sponge on the glass. Pooh. Don't worry with these gloves, they rinse and dry almost instantly. 3) Soft silicone scrapers on fingers and palms won't scratch anything delicate. 4) These gloves are really easy to clean and rinse the sink after washing dishes. .5) Easier to put on than latex or plastic gloves, although I've made this even easier by dusting the inside with unscented talcum powder from time to time. Cons: 1) They're useless for cleaning baked or cooked food, you still need a stiff washcloth or some kind of brush for that. 2) Whilst I haven't tried it I doubt that given the above they will do very well for cleaning a bath or shower but will still offer protection and will likely make rinsing surfaces much easier.
