Good Video Glasses

I bought the OHO 4K 128GB in January 2020 and will compare them to the Pivothead Smart Glasses I previously had. Restoring a clear image when turning the head is pretty good. (The curves are slightly slower on recovery). Colors are vibrant and sharpness is very good, just like the Pivothead. Night video in the rain while driving is good, some graininess. (same or better than Pivotheads) Changing lenses is easy, nothing needs to be unscrewed and both lenses together take about 15 seconds. It takes the pan heads more than 3 minutes to unscrew the two lens barrels, then insert the lens into the slot properly and screw the lens barrels back on. 4K uses compression, 2880 x 2160. Pivothead was 1080P. The sound is good, I find it better than the Pivotheads. Excellent customer service, has been easy to communicate with so far and responded very quickly, often within 12 hours, emailed about a dozen times. Keep in mind that still images from a video can be blurry if you and the image aren't moving in sync. (The pan heads could take still pictures on their own and were sharp, even if they were slightly asynchronous). To capture still images: Video turns on at the push of a button, Hold to turn video off. Go home to edit videos for stills. If the subject and you are not moving, the actual pose for the photo will most likely come out sharp. Recording stops whenever you disconnect the battery. Recording will continue when the battery is connected. The plastic seems pretty strong, but if the glasses are dropped I think the hinges will break, just like the Pivothead SMART glasses. On me, due to the thickness of the frame, they look more like glasses, like e.g. B. swivel heads. I'm 5ft 5" and most of the photos I've seen of the models looked as if they were 6 feet in 4K glasses. The Revain listing shows that many of the models are wearing the signature flat-wrap glasses. The fit is snug and won't fall off easily. It's good to use the strap that comes with the kit. It seems he can withstand a frontal blow and hold on. The Pivothead SMART won't take a hit. Please note that the metal part of the Micro-B connector must be at least 7mm to ensure a good connection. I have a lot of cables and most of them are around 5mm long on average. If you move the shorter head of the micro-B cable, it will lose connection and the recording will be damaged. The Micro-B that comes with the goggles is 7mm long and ensures a good connection. pictures below. Using a 1m USB cable with a 7mm micro-B connector, I get between 14MB/s and 15MB/s, average download and upload speeds are around 13.5MB/s, connected to Corsair K65 USB port, keyboard connected to EVGA x299 Dark 3.0 USB port. I've seen a video of a YouTuber flushing a pair of glasses down the toilet to prove they're waterproof, but they're IP33 which is just plain waterproof. OHO have changed the ads from waterproof to water resistant following some of my emails and they need to change all of their ads if their goggles are IP33 rated. It can be used in the rain without worrying about getting wet or splashy on the beach. The software processing is archaic, that is, edited in notepad and then copied and pasted into the root directory. You must have a laptop with you to change video settings or time settings if you wish. It would be nice to be able to change settings like Pivothead SMART on the fly with a smartphone. These are good glasses for video not really photography, I come from very high tech video glasses and as far as I can tell no glasses currently come close to them. If OHO can release something very similar to Pivothead's SMART but with 4K resolution, it will be something to buy. As such I still think it's a good buy for videos, there could be something better if you like stills. to change video settings or time settings if you wish.
