You know, I have to say, these are quite nice fabric belts - simple, no frills, and well worth it, especially because of the variety of 3 packaging options (black, white and gray in my case) and price. The buckles will NOT slip off as they are pressed against the fabric by the prongs and you can adjust the overall length to your exact waist size so there is no play at the end. I wear pants that are 34-36" and fit perfectly - I had to cut about 4" of fabric on each pant, but it's very easy. Funnily enough, the label on each belt says "100% cotton," but after you trim off the excess length, you can take a butane lighter and melt the ends a little to keep it from wearing out. Last time I checked, cotton doesn't melt haha. come on chinese
